I made this lead after getting moved down the line a couple of times because excess lead was flopping around above my hand in showmanship. This lead is only about 10 inches long and since there is nothing to hold on to but the small wooden ball, there is nothing to flop around above your hand. A small ring is in the end of the ball to attach a regular lead while waiting to enter the ring with your animal. I use this lead only for showmanship.
