Tyny Bees

In 2003, I decided to learn beekeeping. I received a lot of help from my experienced beekeeping friends, Ron Segal and Randy Lee. I harvested my first honey from my lone hive in 2004 and collected 29 1-pound jars.

I added 2 more hives in 2005 and harvested 132 lbs of honey that year from mostly the original hive.

I have planted Crimson Clover among other wildflowers in my Wildscape area. There are also lots of Black Locust trees in the area that contibute to an excellent flavored honey.
